Gifted with the ability to perform anywhere and under any conditions, they have brought their energetic live show to all sorts of venues, from festival tents to night clubs; street corners to bars. Just as comfortable performing as an acoustic trio in a cosy bar as they are playing as a full 8 piece amplified band, Dr Bluegrass and the Illbilly 8 are able to offer a setup to suit any event.

Formed in the winter of 2009, Dr Bluegrass and the Illbilly 8 draw inspiration from a wide range of unusual sources for their unique choice of songs. Everything from traditional bluegrass and gospel, to Irish folk, pop and rock ensures that there is something for all ages, played with an energy and virtuosity that you might not expect at first glance!
