We are ATLÁNTICO - the South Coast's finest six-to-eight-piece Colombian Latin band. While our inspiration is the exuberant music of the golden age of cumbia, when the big bands of Lucho Bermúdez and Clímaco Sarmiento thrilled audiences with their loping porro rhythms, our steamy, contagious music pays homage to the huge variety of “Música Tropical” with which Colombia’s Atlantic coast pulses. Our high energy, highly danceable cumbia, salsa, vallenato, merengue and mambo guarantee that you won't be able to sit still!

Atlántico is a mix of Latin American and UK native musicians, based in Bournemouth and Southampton and we are the REAL DEAL: our line-up includes a full horn section, Latin percussionists and our native Colombian vocalist, all guaranteed to delight your audience with our authentic, pulsating tropical rhythms - and get them dancing from the first song!
