ALVORADA

Since forming in 2016, Alvorada have delighted audiences with their playful interaction, lively melodies and danceable Brazilian grooves. Their debut album First Light was released in 2019 to much critical acclaim. Alvorada’s second album is due for release in 2024, a bold and rich work of original compositions featuring styles such as choro, samba, bossa nova and baião.

Alvorada have toured the UK and internationally, with sell-out performances including the London Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Live and Paris Choro Festival, plus multiple international collaborations with musicians such as Alessandro Penezzi, Jacque Falchetti and Marco Ruviaro. The band has also been featured on BBC Radio 3 and Jazz FM, and won the Latin Music UK (LUKAS) and Focus Brasil awards for ‘Best Brazilian Band’.
